The Hercules Gas engine company was a United States based company which produced buggies.
The company was founded in 1902, in Cincinnati Ohio. Before the company ceased operations in 1934 it was one of the top producers of gas engines.[1]
Note: not the same company as Hercules Engine Company, a builder of larger engines from 1915-1999.[1] Hercules Engine Company, Produced engines to power cement mixers for the Jaeger Machine company out of Columbus Ohio. https://sites.google.com/site/jaegerengine/ Gas engines manufactured by the Hercules Engine Company were branded with the name "Jaeger" and installed as the powerplants in the Jaeger Cement Mixers.
